1. Who we are
Wire & Watt (“we”, “us”) runs an independent technology marketplace for businesses in the United States. We help businesses compare and switch connectivity, energy supply, cybersecurity, cloud, managed services, software, hardware and AI. We are not a carrier, utility or energy supplier.
This policy covers wireandwatt.com, our forms, and the calls, texts and emails we exchange with you. Our services are for businesses, so the information we handle is mostly business contact information.

If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to the following:
I agree that Wire & Watt, and the partners and providers who help prepare my quotes, may call and text me at the number I entered about the services I asked about, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. I can reply STOP to any text or tell you on a call to opt out at any time.
- Consent is optional and is not a condition of buying anything. You can still reach us by email without it.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask us on a call or by email.
- Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
- Calls with our team may be recorded for quality and training. We tell you at the start of a call when it is recorded.
- Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
6. Bills you upload
Bills can contain account numbers, so we handle them carefully. Files you upload through our website are sent over an encrypted connection straight into private file storage and linked to your request. They are never stored in a public location, and only our team can open them.
We use bills only to understand and compare your services. We keep them for TODOretention period, for example 12 months after our last contact, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
8. How long we keep it
We keep contact and request information for as long as we’re working with you or tracking contract dates for you, and for as long as we need it for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. Uploaded bills follow the shorter period in section 6.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and private storage to protect your information, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send information we haven’t asked for.

- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of calls or emails by telling us or using the unsubscribe link.
